There are many things to view from the house. Groups of porpoises (usually about three or four) swim back and forth in front of the house several times each day [photo not available]. Pelicans and seagulls fly just a few feet over the ocean. Boats and ships pass quite close to the house. You can watch the activity on the beach.

The ocean takes on many different appearances depending on the tide, the wind speed, and the lighting conditions. At high tide the ocean completely covers the sand in front of the house and waves lap against the rocks. At low tide the beach is up to 250 feet wide. The height of the ocean (the tidal range) changes by 8 feet from high tide to low tide - a larger range than in most other places. These are views you don't get even from houses on the other side of the street. You can sit and relax and enjoy these views from the porch or from within the house.
